5th World Water Forum Side Event

Convenor: World Water Council (WWC), State Hydraulic Works Turkey (DSI) and the Secretariat of the 5th World Water Forum
Building on the accumulated experience of four successive fora, this side event will report on the progress for the preparation of the 5th World Water Forum to be held in Istanbul in 2009 and on the follow-up given to the proposals made during the kick-off meeting held in Istanbul in March.
Participants will also be requested to provide comments and advice on how to best link the Forum’s preparation to other important ongoing processes. Reports on follow-up given to outcomes of the 4th World Water Forum will also be presented. |
