Stockholm Junior Water Prize
Tuesday 19 August, 19:00
18:45 - 20:30 Victoria Hall
The Stockholm Junior Water Prize competition, open to young people ages 15-20, brings together the world’s brightest young scientists to encourage their continued interest in water and the environment. Each year, thousands of participants in over 30 countries join national competitions for the chance to represent their nation at the international final held during the World Water Week in Stockholm.
The Stockholm Junior Water Prize projects are on display in the exhibition area. The finalists are interviewed by a nominating committee of international experts, who decide on the winner announced at the Award Ceremony.
The winner receives a USD 5,000 award and a blue crystal sculpture. H.R.H. Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden is the Patron of the Stockholm Junior Water Prize and will present the prize and the diplomas to each of the finalists during the Award Ceremony.
