World Water Week in Stockholm

The WWAP, a programme under UN-Water, produces the World Water Development Report (WWDR), which is a periodic, comprehensive review providing an authoritative picture of the state of the world’s freshwater resources. It aims to influence strategies and practices at the local and country level and is targeted to those involved in the formulation and implementation of water-related policies and investments. On March 16, 2009 at the World Water Forum in Istanbul, the third WWDR, "Water in a Changing World," will be presented. This side event’s objective is to generate discussion and comment on several of the major trends that have emerged from the development of the report.
