Mr Rami Abdel Rahman is a global project management executive, currently leading the Sweden Textile Water Initiative (STWI): an award-winning public-private partnership that proactively improves the environmental impact of textile industry in emerging, middle and low-income countries. STWI is one of the world’s largest public-private partnerships, linking sustainability with profitability for 30+ brands, 120+ factories in 7 regions in 5 countries in Asia and Africa. The program saves water for millions of people, while giving business concrete growth opportunities (i.e. 450% annual ROI).

Mr. Abdelrahman excels at creating and managing partnership opportunities where corporate financial efficiencies are deployed to deliver on complex international development strategies. Mr. Abdelrahman leadership style focuses on empowering teams, superiors, clients, and partners towards collaborative, impactful, effective and result-oriented international development.

Mr Abdelrahman has rooted his experience in project management in various environment & development related contexts in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. He has documented project management experience from projects in: Bangladesh, Botswana, China, Egypt, Ethiopia, EU countries, India, Iraq, Jordan, Palestinian Terrories / Israel, Turkey, Vietnam, among other countries. He has a BSc in Business Economics, MA in Communications and a Post-Grad Diploma in Industrial Resource Management. Rami speaks Arabic, English and Swedish fluently.
